Courses may be licensed individually, or licensed in cost-effective packages. The following are two of our most popular course packages:
- The Essentials Series – consisting of PM Essentials: Parts 1, 2 and 3
- The Certificate Series – 5 of our most popular courses which can be used as is, or to create a fully customized and integrated project management certification program for your organization.
The course materials have been designed to be equally effective for both in-person and virtual delivery. Both modes of delivery use the same core materials and hands-on exercises. To obtain the required level of participant hands-on interaction during the virtual delivery as in the in-person delivery, each virtual session takes place in a pre-configured virtual space designed specifically for the course. This short video compilation, taken from an actual virtual session, demonstrates how this works.
Clients may choose between licensing the in-person or virtual delivery of our project management courses. Clients that would prefer to license both modes of delivery, may do so for a small additional fee.
Licensed courses, include the following:
- Participant workbook files
- PowerPoint Presentation
- Participant handout files
- Applicable course reference files
- Instructor notes
- Virtual classroom set-up (for courses which are delivered virtually)
The participant workbook files may be used by license holders to created hard-copy or PDF workbooks for course participants. The PDF workbooks are fully searchable, including the participant notes which may be added below each slide.
For greatest flexibility, WCP the following options for licensing course materials:
- Annual licensing
- Perpetual licensing
Clients who choose annual licensing, will receive the most current version of the materials on their annual renewal.
Clients who choose perpetual licensing, will receive the most current version of the materials when initially purchasing their license.
The cost for the licensing of WCP course IP is be based on the following:
- the number of courses being licensed (courses may be licensed individually or in sets)
- the term of the license (annual or perpetual)
- the number of geographical locations in which the licensed material is to be used by the organization

Customization options depend on the license selected. In general;
- Annual licenses holders are not able to customize the course content, but are able to customize certain branding elements of the materials.
- Perpetual licenses holders are able to customize both the course content, as well as key branding elements.
To receive the full benefits and learning objectives of each course, it is important that the materials be facilitated by a qualified instructor.
Clients can choose to either use WCP instructors to facilitate materials licensed from WCP, or have their own people facilitate the sessions.
Unlike many project management courses that are mostly theory, WCP courses are highly integrated, make extensive use of realistic scenarios, are nuanced, and have many hands-on group exercises. To deliver the intended value, course facilitators must not only fully understand the topics covered, but also the way the course is meant to be delivered. The recommended process for preparing new instructors therefore involves the following:
- To start, the the ideal instructor must be an experienced hands-on project manager, a dynamic speaker/presenter, and be familiar with adult learning principles.
- Instructors should carefully review all course materials and instructor notes that are provided with the licensed materials.
- Prior to their facilitating the course on their own, we recommend that instructors first observe the session being delivered by an instructor with extensive experience delivering that particular course.*
- If further assistance is required, WCP also offers one-on-one or group coaching
* Observation of an experienced WCP facilitator delivering a given course, can be done either during one of our regularly scheduled open-enrollment (public) sessions, or by having an experienced WCP instructor facilitate the initial delivery of each licensed course for the client.
