Experience: Paul has over 25 years experience as a project manager. He has managed projects of all sizes and across industries including manufacturing, environment, telecommunications, IT, and government. Paul is the author of a number of the industry’s leading project management courses, many offered over the years in association with 15 universities and colleges across Canada.
Strengths: Paul’s experience and teaching style has proven particularly useful in helping participants move from project management theory to the real world application of project management, in a way that makes sense for their environment. In addition to being President of WCP, Paul provides project management training and consulting services, is the author of some of the most popular project management training courses in Canada, often speaks at project management conferences, and is a Microsoft Project expert. Many of the courses Paul has developed over the years such as Project Management Essentials, Juggling Multiple Projects, and Hands-on Microsoft Project are held up as the template by which competitor courses of similar scope are modeled.
Education: Paul graduated with an engineering degree from the University of Toronto, and has been a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 1992.
