Experience: Kristine has over 18 years of experience in Project Management, managing complex projects and programs of significant size and managing portfolios in excess of $250 million. Kristine has successfully established company-wide Project Management practices throughout her career and has a great deal of experience in implementing and leading PMO’s, business analysis, strategic planning, and developing Project Managers. Kristine has spent her professional career in the telecommunications industry and IT.
Strengths: Kristine brings a very practical “real world” approach to applying project management principles based on extensive experience in managing large complex cross-functional projects. Her application of effective Project Management practices encompasses both the utilization of traditional as well as various flavours of Agile Project Management techniques. In her senior management roles, Kristine has developed strong people skills, leadership capabilities and understands the importance of building high performing collaborative teams across organizations. Kristine takes a very “people focused” approach in applying project management to deliver successful projects, programs and portfolios.
Education: Kristine graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Kristine has attended Queen’s University Executive Development programs focusing on Strategic Planning and Operational Leadership. Kristine has her PMI-ACP designation and has been a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2005.
