Direct financial support from the government for up to two-thirds of the cost of your project management training — up to $10,000 per person.
The Canada Job Grant program provides direct financial support to employers who invest in the professional development of their staff. This grant is available to small, medium and large businesses with the plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees. It is designed to help Canadian employees develop skills they require to take on additional responsibility or to qualify for new positions.
Project management courses provided by WCP qualify for this program, and therefore this grant provides an exceptional opportunity for Canadian companies to provide their employees with the project management training they need to help improve their ability to succeed.
Canada Ontario Job Grant program requirements are as follows:
- The training must be delivered by an eligible, third-party trainer (both public and in-house project management workshops provided by WCP qualify)
- Employers must contribute one-third of the total costs. There is additional flexibility for small businesses to provide an in-kind contribution towards their share of the costs.
- The grant provides up to $10,000 in government support per person for training costs.
